American-made quality right in Maryland.

Screw machining typically will give you tolerances of plus or minus a thou or two. We’re down in the two tenths, it’s high precision, high quality.

It’s not needed for commercial type items, but it is necessary for Aerospace, defense, and medical industries.

Hi, I’m Brad from Chesapeake CNC. We specialize in small part, Swiss screw machining.

This is not the Cadillac of parts, this is the Mercedes of parts. We supply 8,000 a week of these to Mercedes-Benz in Germany.

It’s got a blunt start thread, so that means that you can’t cross thread it or have trouble during the assembly.

That’s a unique feature that you can do on our Swiss machines.

Everything that we do comes off complete. Everything is done in-house because you’re on center and you’re basically not dropping something off and trying to re-register it.

All of our machines are fed with 12-foot bar stock. They go into a collet and then we have either fixed tools or live tools.

We go anywhere from 10 millimeter up to 38 millimeter, inch and a half diameter. Materials: brass, copper, aluminum, inconel, any exotics, titanium. It doesn’t really matter.

This particular part right here, the uniqueness of it is made for a firing pin for a 9 millimeter full auto handheld firearm.

This particular firearm gets tested with 19,000 rounds to test the viability and long-term usage of this part.

[1:52] For those of you that are music enthusiasts, we make a number of parts for a guitar manufacturer on the Eastern Shore.

Their guitars start about five to ten thousand dollars, so this isn’t for the weekend warrior. We probably have a dozen or so parts here that are made for them and basically they trust us with having it plated, machined, and provided as a finished part to their assembly.

[2:18] Well, here we have a pair of parts. These are actually made for an electronics connector manufacturer. These end up on Abrams Tanks.

These are battery connect cable terminals. One of the problems out in the field with tanks is that when there’s a battery changeover necessary, they don’t have any quick way of disconnecting and connecting new batteries.

So these are made to withstand up to 500 amps on a tank. We provide our quotes within four to six working days.

We provide deliveries within four to six weeks. Everything comes complete with first article inspections.
